Lunch is planned at a hotel or local restaurant, followed by rest and a sunset stop at Fatnas Island or Birket Bazyah. The sunset location is selected as part of the final day plan, rather than a commitment to visit both places.
Salt lakes, springs and the Great Sand Sea
Day 3 includes a salt-cave visit, Dakrour Mountain, the Salt Lakes and Cleopatra’s Spring before lunch and a rest. The later Great Sand Sea safari brings 4×4 rides, sandboarding, hot and cold springs and a desert sunset stop. Discuss the activity plan, suitability and practical timing with Zizo when confirming your date. The three overnight stays remain in a hotel in Siwa.
Transport, meals and practical planning
The program estimates an 11–12-hour outward drive from Cairo including stops, with evening check-in in Siwa. Transportation, hotel stay, guided tours and selected meals are listed as included. Confirm the hotel, room arrangement, meal selection, safari fee and admission tickets in the final quotation. The planned 5:30 PM safari departure needs to be checked for your travel date. Return to Cairo is on the fourth day, with an evening arrival planned.
Tour Plan
Depart Cairo early in the morning for Siwa. The program estimates approximately 11–12 hours on the road including stops.
Arrive in the evening, check in at the hotel and use the remaining time to rest. Stay overnight in Siwa.
Have breakfast at the hotel, then visit Shali Fortress, the Mountain of the Dead, a Traditional Siwan House, the Temple of the Oracle of Amun and the Temple of Umm Ubayda.
Have lunch at the hotel or a local restaurant and take a short rest. Continue to the sunset stop at Fatnas Island or Birket Bazyah, as arranged for the day.
Return for the second hotel night in Siwa. Confirm the dinner arrangement as part of the selected meal plan.
After breakfast, visit the salt cave, Dakrour Mountain, the Salt Lakes and Cleopatra’s Spring. The cave visit is described here without a medical or therapeutic guarantee.
Have lunch and rest at the hotel before the Great Sand Sea safari. The planned departure time is 5:30 PM and should be confirmed for the actual travel date.
The safari includes 4x4 rides, sandboarding, hot and cold spring stops and time for the desert sunset. Return for the third hotel night in Siwa; no overnight desert camp is listed.
Have breakfast at the hotel and leave Siwa in the morning.
Drive back to Cairo, with arrival planned for the evening. Confirm any onward travel connection with Zizo before finalizing the trip.
