This El Gara Cave Tour from Cairo combines a limestone-cave visit with two nights of desert camping and the White Desert’s chalk landscapes. No payment is taken. Your date is confirmed by Zizo after your request.
Why choose an El Gara Cave Tour from Cairo?
The cave visit is the defining feature of this three-day itinerary. El Gara Cave is visited on the second day, between the first desert camp and the White Desert overnight. The middle day focuses on the cave, Ain El Serw and the return through the valleys, giving this route a different emphasis from the standard two-night White Desert safari. Choose it for the combination of cave formations and open desert landscapes.
A route with several kinds of desert scenery
Day 1 travels from Cairo to Bahariya before continuing by 4×4 through the Black Desert, the Bedouin village spring stops, Crystal Mountain, the Airport Area and Karawin Sand Dunes. Day 2 adds the limestone formations inside El Gara Cave, then Ain El Serw, the Great Valley, the Petrified Wood Area, Mangrove Valley and Rose Valley. The final morning explores the White Desert formations before the return to Bahariya and Cairo.
Two camping evenings and meals along the route
The planned evenings bring dinner, tea and a campfire, with breakfast at camp on Days 2 and 3. Lunch stops are at a Bedouin restaurant on arrival, in the Great Valley on the second day and in Bahariya before the final return. Confirm the precise meal inclusions, camping equipment and overnight arrangements in your quotation so the trip matches what you expect.
Plan around the cave route
Ask Zizo about the practical requirements of the cave visit and the longer desert route before choosing your travel date. The planned departure from Cairo is 7:00 AM, with an approximate four-hour approach to Bahariya, but it does not state an exact final arrival time in Cairo. Share any onward travel, children’s ages or relevant mobility needs in advance. English-speaking guidance is included, while other languages require an additional arrangement and charge.
