This is the one-night camping option in the tour collection. It is designed around a Cairo departure, an afternoon of 4×4 desert visits, a night in the New White Desert and the return through Bahariya the following day. The route includes the Black Desert and Mount Marsas viewpoint, a Bedouin village, the cold and hot springs, Crystal Mountain, Aqabat and the Ancient Desert’s mushroom-shaped rock formations.
A camping evening rather than a hotel night
The overnight stay is at a desert camp. The dinner described in the program is grilled chicken with vegetables, rice and salad. Breakfast is in the desert the following morning, and the inclusion list specifies two lunches, one breakfast and one dinner, together with water, tea and Nescafe. A hotel overnight is not part of this route. Ask Zizo to confirm the camping-equipment details and any dietary arrangement before booking.
Choose the one-night route that fits your trip
This is the shorter White Desert option: one desert evening, a 4×4 route through the Black Desert and Aqabat, and the return the following day. El Gara Cave is not part of this itinerary, and there is no extra middle day exploring the valleys of the longer camping program. Choose the two-day route for a one-night experience, or discuss a longer safari with Zizo when you would like more time in the desert.

The planned Cairo departure is around 7:00 AM. After lunch and the desert visits, stay overnight in the New White Desert. Day 2 includes breakfast, the drive out of the desert, lunch and the return through Bahariya to Cairo. Daily departures can be requested, subject to confirmation of the actual arrangements. Share any onward travel plans so your expected return time can be discussed before booking.
Tour Plan
Depart Cairo at approximately 7:00 AM. Have lunch before continuing the desert adventure by 4x4. The operator also recommends allowing time to rest and be ready for the safari.
Visit the Black Desert and Mount Marsas panoramic viewpoint, followed by the Bedouin village and the cold and hot spring stops. Continue to Crystal Mountain, the Aqabat area and the Ancient Desert’s mushroom-shaped rock formations.
Camp overnight in the New White Desert. The supplied dinner is grilled chicken, vegetables, rice and salad. Water, tea and Nescafe are included as stated in the package.
Have breakfast in the desert, then continue the return drive through the desert scenery.
Have lunch before leaving, return to Bahariya Oasis and continue back to Cairo. Confirm the final arrival plan with Zizo; no fixed Cairo arrival time is provided.
